Any good Nonfiction and Biography books for teens?
I need a Amercian Classic, a biography, and a Nonfiction book for school. I've tried reading those books, but the ones I found were just so boring. I Need good and exciting books in those genres please! And may they please not be long like Gone with the wind?

- Nonfiction- 'Last Chance to See' by Douglas Adams and Mark Cawardine. It's about endangered animals - it's interesting, moving, and hilarious.
- Do they all have to involve the United States? If not, Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt is excellent. All Rivers Run to the Sea by Elie Wiesel is amazing, as are the rest of his works such as Night. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou deals with the U.S. and is a superb piece. If you are into something more modern, I thought Three Weeks With My Brother by Nicholas Sparks was engaging and also easy to read. All the ones I've listed are autobiographical and, in my opinion, great reads.
- Marley & Me is great.
- Choose something with history and adventure ... @
